Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine how the green supply chain affects sustainability. Managers at the senior and middle levels of the pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan were the focus of this study since they were creating the company's policies and strategies. There were 86 managers in the purposive sample. An electronic self-report questionnaire created with Google Forms was utilized to collect the data required for the analysis. The research hypotheses were examined using AMOS software. The study found that the green supply chain, including its components (green manufacturing, green distribution, green purchasing, eco-design, and green reverse logistics), had an effect on sustainability. Drawing from this finding, the researcher suggests that pharmaceutical companies in Pakistanan adopt green initiatives and follow the trends toward a green supply chain approach that minimizes waste and non-renewable resource consumption. Additionally, the company should implement specific policies and procedures requiring employees to implement the green approach in their work practices.
