Abstract

This study aimed to explore the portrayal of religious minority particularly Hindu in the British news media (The Guardian and The Telegraph) within the period of five years i.e. 2020-2024 through the Fairclough method of Critical Discourse Analysis. It analyzed 17 news articles with the purposive sampling technique. The selected news article reflects the neutral to positive image of the Hindu community. It has been observed the nationalist ideology under the Modi govt also highlight their geopolitical shift.
