Abstract

While the 9/11 incident has created a new chapter in world history, it has also given a new theme to film and fiction, and has forced serious people to think honestly about terrorism. So, regarding Iraq and Afghanistan, it has not yet been determined whether the real terrorists were the so-called ‘highly uncivilized’ government and the few people who were reported to have attacked the World Trade Center and whose guilt has not been proven to this day, or whether the real terrorists were the governments claiming to be extremely civilized who, for an unproven crime, put thousands of innocent people to death and left millions crippled, orphaned, widowed and destitute. And whether the real terrorist was the tyrant Shah, about whom the news was spread that he had weapons that could destroy the world, or whether the real terrorist was the secular government, the champion of democracy, which, knowing that it was all a lie, destroyed an entire country. 9/11 not only wrote a new chapter in history, but also changed the psychology of people on both sides (those who were/are with Sahib Bahadur and those who are targeted by Sahib Bahadur, and the political and economic conditions of many countries also changed, as did the ideologies and perceptions of the people living there. This is being examined in many ways in Urdu fiction.
